Cold Meridian in San Sebastian
The experimental short film Cold Meridian was screened last weekend at the film festival in San Sebastian, in the section for „surprising and attractive film proposals” called Zabaltegi-Tabakalera. The short film shot on 8 mm and 16 mm film was directed by Peter Strickland, who has worked with a Hungarian crew for an umpteen time. Cold Meridian shows the disquieting side of the ASMR phenomenon, the popular genre that operates with normally relaxing sound effects performed on online platforms. The DOP is Márk Győri, producer is Dóra Nedeczky, the analogue post production was done at the Hungarian Filmlab.
