The Nest on 35 mm
Kodak interviewed Mátyás Erdély on the American production, The Nest. The feature directed by Sean Dirkin was shot on 35 mm negative in Kanada, the USA and then the UK, and finally, the 35 mm print was made in Budapest, at the Hungarian Filmlab. It was a pleasure again to work together, this time, on an international project.
A quote from the article: >>Erdély concludes: “I really love everything about film, and the more I shoot with it, the more I love it. I am addicted to film. The results never feel fake, plastic or artificial, just real and natural. Once again, Kodak celluloid and the nature of its look has transported the audience back in time, and given them an immersive connection to this great, unnerving psychological drama.” <<
