Klaus Maria Brandauer watched his newest film, Final Report at the Filmlab
Tuesday evening, the public received the Oscar-awarded director, István Szabó’s new feature, Final Report with a big applause. The main character, Klaus Maria Brandauer attended the premiere, as guest of honour to the opening ceremony of the Hungarian Motion Picture Festival. The evening before we also hosted Brandauer for the screening of the English subtitled digital copy.
Brandauer and Szabó have worked together on the famous trilogy including Mephisto (winner of an Oscar in 1981 for Best Foreign Language Film and winner of the Screenplay Award at Cannes), Colonel Redl (Jury Prize at Cannes and nominated for the 1986 Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film) and Hanussen (in competition at Cannes in 1988 and nominated for the 1989 Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film).
Final report premieres at the cinemas today.
