A new acknowledgement to the Hungarian Filmlab: “The Trap" and “Beaufort" among the nine Oscar nominated foreign films!
Two feature films, “The Trap" and “Beaufort", the entire traditional and digital postproduction works of which were done in the Hungarian Filmlab, are now in competition among the nine that were nominated for the "Best Foreign Film" category. The serbian thriller by Srdan Golubovic and the israeli feature by Joseph Cedar compete for the highest prize of the motion picture industry with the new works of other internationally appreciated directors such as Guiseppe Tornatore, Andrzej Wajda és Nyikita Mihalkov. The Academy will announce on the 22nd of January which five films out of the nine are nominated for the Oscar in the category of "Best Foreign Film of 2007".
